The Bulgarian Yessen Savov is the first to cross the finishing line today, above the landing area at Borso del Grappa. A quick task, which has finally managed to not be closed due to weather conditions and 84 of the 150 pilots in the race crossed the finishing line. Immediately behind Savov, the Slovenian Dusan Oroz is crossing the finishing line. With this he is proving his formerly positive results that are characterizing his participation in the paragliding world championship. Just shortly behind, another Slovenian, Jurij Vidic.
The fastest task amongst the women had been taken from the French Seiko Fukuoka Naville, who reconfirms her strength in women's classification. Behind her, the Swiss Emanuelle Zufferey and the Hungarian Adel Honti.
A task of 53.6 km, finished by Savov in 1 hour 39 minutes and 44 seconds, with good flight conditions that have finally allowed pilots to complete the route. 84 have well interpreted the thermals and reached their destination. The rest had landed along the route.
The task who started from Rubbio, had been hard work for the pilots to reach the first turning point in direction of Caltrano, passing above Salcedo, second turning point in direction of Cittadella, passing Bassano Del Grappa, third turning point in direction of Asolo passing above San Zenone Degli Ezzelini. Then the turning point in direction of Marostica, once again passing over Bassano Del Grappa and crossing the finishing line above Romano d'Ezzelino. For finishing the task the pilots landed at Borso del Grappa.
